I have built a BOC file combining 2 models and Gomboc sends an error message. Are there too many channels in my model? If so, is there a way to control the maximum number of channels in a model?
Update (16/06/2026): The maximum number of channels that can be displayed in the Results window has been increased from 2,000 to 32,766.
There is no limit to the number of channels in a Gomboc model itself.
However, for performance reasons, there is a limit on how many channels can be displayed in the Results window. In versions before 9.2026.5.4, that limit was 2,000; from 9.2026.5.4 onward, it is 32,766.
If you exceed this limit, Gomboc may show an error when building or opening a BOC file. In that case, you can work around the issue by disabling the SQLite results model. Please note that the Results window will then disappear from the GUI.
