Hi,
I believe I already faced the issue in the past and not sure if a solution has been found. When launching Gomboc in batch mode via the terminal to execute dynamic simulation (or any simulation) defined via a –run-script-file option, it seems that when using multiple monitors/screens, Gomboc fails to launch its interface, sometime it does not launch any batch instances interfaces at all, sometime it manages to launch some. When looking at the process in the task manager processes, I do see the Gomboc instances appearing as well.
The —disable–graphics is not used in that case when launching Gomboc, so I would still expect to see the Gomboc interface appearing.
When using one monitor, the instances are launching fine with their interfaces and it solves the issue. However I was wondering if the multi-screen behavior could be addressed so this feature would be available when using multiple monitors.
When launching in batch mode via terminal instances, it seems to take a bit of time to appear, more time compared to when it is opened manually via a shortcut double click, not sure if there is any optimization that could be done on this front as well. Could this be related to the way Gomboc.exe might be added in the environment variable path?
Another feature which might be useful is when those instances are launched via the batch command, having the ability to deactivate any interaction but still see them appear to see how the simulation perform live, so they could be monitored on the screen while the user would still be able to use their mouse and keyboard safely to carry on other tasks in parallel on the same machine.
Thanks,
Nicolas
