I currently have a 3 elements foil, and would like to build a 5 elements foil. How can I add elements to my existing geometry?
First option to build a 5-elements foil would be to start from the Pi-foil geometry of the Power Boat sample.
Otherwise, if you want to start from your existing geometry, you can add elements by editing the *.foil file. This file contains the list of all the elements and their definition. Simply copy and paste one of the items of the element list and modify its “Name” property. You might also want to edit the rondure points (“B” list in “Rondure” property), so that the new element appears clearly on the rondure view next time you open the edited foil.
Similarly, you can also remove elements of a foil by editing the *.foil file.
